#WhoMakesAmysBread?
Workers do, and we're calling on the company to accept a groundbreaking workplace justice agreement that provides fair compensation and respect for our voice on the job.
Stand with us! Join this cause's community, and stay updated on actionsAmy's Bread is an artisan baking factory in Queens that supplies NYC's most prominent restaurants and grocery stores. It claims to be a responsible business, yet we, immigrant workers baking the bread, struggle to afford the most basic necessities and to make our voice heard.
We've been in negotiations with Amy's Bread management for over two years. While there's been progress, the company is now stalling and refuses to accept a comprehensive workplace agreement that includes decent compensation.
We work hard and insist on dignified working conditions at Amy's Bread and across New York City's local food factories. Take action with us - online and on the ground - until we achieve a workplace justice agreement that improves our jobs and advances a dignified standard for all workers in the fast-growing local food industry.

Become a May Day Team Leader!
Moving into Brandworkers tenth year, we have never faced a starker contrast between winning and losing. The obstacles in front of our community have never been more daunting. Now more than ever, we look to our allies for solidarity and support. With this in mind, we are asking you to join a group of core allies serving as team leaders for Brandworkers' annual May Day fundraising appeal.
May Day team leaders ask 10 friends, family members, or colleagues to contribute $15 to Brandworkers over the 10 day period leading up to May 1st. The May Day appeal forms the cornerstone of our grassroots fundraising strategy and the foundation for our continued struggle for dignity in our communities and justice at our jobs.

We're tired of waiting! Amy's Bread workers labor hard every day baking bread for consumers in the culinary capital of the world. CEO Amy Scherber has profited mightily while those of us who hand craft the baguettes, sandwiches, and pastries struggle every month to keep our head above water.
